Our History

Established in the year 2000 by Ronnie Dyne, a seasoned finance executive with a wealth of experience spanning various jurisdictions, Stonebridge initially operated as a single-family office. Over the years, it has evolved into a multi-family office, extending its services to client families across Australia, the USA and Europe. Our network of professional partners, including globally-oriented banks, investment advisors, and accountants, enhances our reach and capabilities.

In 2022, Saul Dyne, a Chartered Accountant, became a valued addition to our team. To further enhance our client services, we partnered with Masttro, a leading wealth reporting technology firm, ensuring our clients benefit from cutting-edge investment reporting solutions tailored specifically for family offices.

Advantages of a multi-family office

1

Cost sharing

A single-family office can cost more than $1,000,000 per year to operate and accordingly is only effective for ultra-high net wealth families. A multi-family office shares the administrative costs over a larger pool of families, allowing for lower overall overhead costs.
2

Privacy and control

A multi-family office adds an extra layer of privacy and exclusivity to the family’s affairs. Not only can the family closely monitor the performance of their investments, but they also have greater control over their assets.
3

One point of contact

All family financial and legal info in one place, eliminating the need to deal with multiple advisors. A dedicated team ensures continuity of service for family leaders and future generations.
4

Holistic Financial Management

A multi-family office offers comprehensive financial management, addressing diverse needs such as wealth preservation, investments, tax planning, and estate management in an integrated manner.
5

Inter-Generational Planning

These offices excel in long-term planning, facilitating smooth transitions of wealth across generations. This ensures the preservation and growth of family assets for the benefit of heirs.
6

Time and stress saving

Families can delegate the intricacies of financial management to professionals, allowing them to focus on personal and business pursuits without the burden of day-to-day financial complexities.
7

Estate Planning and Philanthropy

Multi-family offices excel in managing comprehensive estate plans and philanthropic strategies, ensuring that family wealth is preserved and utilised in alignment with the family's values and legacy goals.
8

Regular reporting and communication

Clients benefit from regular updates and transparent communication regarding their financial portfolio and relevant market trends, fostering a strong client-advisor relationship.
9

Global reach

Multifamily offices often have a global perspective, facilitating cross-border financial management and addressing the international needs of globally dispersed families.
